People seeking assistance from Social Services are required to be within our service area and must call and schedule an appointment with one of our Case Managers.  An interview will be conducted to determine the needs and resources that are needed.  Trained staff and volunteers assess the clients’ needs and match them with services available within the programs of Katy Christian Ministries.    During 2007: 7,300 people signed in 705 were new clients 70 travelers/homeless were served Total assistance provided $129,622.00

Social Services Provides: Counseling Referrals - Family, individual DOCS -- Doctors in Community Service Limited financial assistance - Rent/mortgage, utilities, medical, gasoline Medical Equipment Loan Service Resale Stores Vouchers - clothing, household items, furniture Christmas assistance for eligible families - "Santa's Sleigh" Provides required school supplies for eligible families - "School Supplies" KCM was able to help several children receive  immunizations from Breath of Life Clinic
